   In the past decades, bamboo flooring is flooded in the American market. More and more people buy bamboo flooring, one because of its unique color and texture, one because of its growing nature-it's environmentally friendly material which can be harvested every 6 years. But, when you decide to buy bamboo flooring you are perplexed by the price. You can find in the market $1.99/sf, $2.25/sf. We even hear a lot of installers say 'bamboo floorings are all the same'. Are bamboo floorings really that cheap? Are bamboo floorings really the same? Not really!

   Bamboo is regarded as green built material. But, when it is made into bamboo flooring, is bamboo flooring really green built material? Unlikely! If you cut 3 years or 4 years unmatured bamboo to mix with 6 years old bamboo to make bamboo flooring, you tempered with its growing season, damaging the ecological balance. That bamboo is not green built material. If you use glue that contains high formaldehyde release in the bamboo flooring, the flooring becomes hazardus to our health. That's not green built material, either.
